American actor Taylor Lautner, known for his role as the werewolf Jacob Black in the Twilight franchise, is returning to the world of mysticism, Deadline reports.

The 33-year-old actor will star in the new series Taylor Lautner: Werewolf Hunter, where he will play himself.

The project, which will be available on the Amazon platform, will combine elements of action, comedy, and mysticism. Moreover, Lautner will not only play the main character, but will also produce and direct the show.

The series was written by Daisy Gardner, known for her work on A Single Drunk Woman. According to the plot, Lautner leads a double life: by day he is a Hollywood actor, and by night he is a member of a secret society of werewolf hunters. His unique background makes him the perfect candidate to fight the creatures that, ironically, once made him famous.

The premiere date for the series has not yet been announced, but fans are already anticipating Lautner’s return to the world of the supernatural.
